Dancing as Anger therapy

I am a physician by profession .But I love Dancing..I am not a trained dancer.As a matter of fact, I don't think anyone needs to really be trained in DANCE..If you have it in you, you really can and will dance well on your own .Yes, great rhythmic music does help you going/get you started...

I like all styles of dancing..I just like dancing.It helps me unwind..I helps me get charged up ,,It just helps me relax and go into the happy zone..
Sometimes it is the reverse..When i am really really happy already,,I go into a dancing spree..Works both ways you see!

Though for most part, Dance per say is not an EXCLUSIVE SOLUTION to anger.. But yes, it can help as a temporary aid to put off anger for later analysis..Like, a TEMPORARY RESPITE.
Like I always insist on this blog, Anger has a CAUSE..
And it helps to get to the bottom of it..
find out every single thing there is to this issue that is causing you anguish..
think objectively and then find a solution..

But then, the above mentioned FOUR STEP ANGER ELIMINATION STRATEGY that i propound might be time consuming and might depend on the information that is available to you.Most often many facts and issues are not on the forefront and we don't often notice them until much later and till you reach that point of actually seeing the real issue, we MAY NOT be able to come to a logical closure to that anger..So, DANCE walks in to the rescue in such situations.. for a way to temporarily put off those surges of anger that come up and you don't know why you are so angry .

Dance is a form of exercise.Infact, sex is a form of exercise too..And any form of exercise will start acting as a MENTAL DIVERSION.. helps us focus on the body and not on the mind.. Any distraction instantly gives respite to the brain,
Also, any form of exercise will cause all the positive chemicals in the body (what are positive chemicals?.I shall take time and post about these in my other blog, ECOLOGY AND HEALTH BLOG at a later point of time, not inside the scope of this blog entry, k?)

So, well, The next time you are very angry and you are not in a position to completely analyze and bring a solution to eliminate it just yet..and  You seek a temporary solution to put off the anger surge..JUST GO AHEAD AND DANCE WILL YA?
